The Punto<\/i> Cieco<\/i> poster brings together, within the reach of a single gaze, the masks used in Eyes Wide Shut<\/em> and recreated in Venetian workshops specifically for the project.<\/p>

Originally conceived as a working tool to catalogue the various mask models and to guide their association with photographic poses, the poster gradually evolved into a fully realised graphic work. Its graphic design draws inspiration from the didactic plates widely circulated in Europe between the late nineteenth and the mid-twentieth century.<\/p>

Known as Classification Plates, these posters were used in schools and natural history museums to organise and describe animals, plants, or technical instruments through images, combining scientific intent and a strong aesthetic sensibility. Beyond their practical function of illustration and categorisation, they reveal a refined compositional awareness, in which layout, symmetry, and visual rhythm all stem from a careful and sophisticated graphic design.<\/p>

The Punto Cieco<\/em> poster revisits this classificatory tradition and reinterprets it through a contemporary lens.<\/p>

The work is available in two formats\u201450 \u00d7 71.5<\/strong> cm<\/strong> and 70 \u00d7 100 cm<\/strong>\u2014and in two colour variants, green and grey, on 100% cotton Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag 310 g\/m\u00b2 paper. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.<\/p>
